Excerpts from my new book on Brownsville (Brownsville: The Jewish Years) have now become exhibits on Steve Lasky's Museum of Family History, a very interesting virtual museum. One deals with the impact of the Holocaust on long-time residents of Brownsville -- particularly Herzl Street. The second brings back to life the iconic Loews Pitkin movie theater complete with archival photos.

Like yourself, I am an advent lover of all Yiddish, and would include some of the works of Bashivas Singer as loves too.
