Favorite work of Jewish (you define it!) literature
Hmm. When I'm not near the book I love, I love the book I'm near. My latest favorite is The Man in the White Sharkskin Suit by Lucette Lagnado. I missed her by one day on my tour to the Detroit book fair. I would have loved to meet this talented author. The story is more than engrossing and the writing is superb!
About Me:
I am the author of "Cooking Jewish" 532 Great Recipes from the Rabinowitz Family," my love letter to my family. Over 300 family members contributed recipes, stories and the over 500 photos. The book grew out of a self-published cookbook I wrote just for my family that somehow took on a life of its own, selling 11,000 copies and catching the eye of Workman Publishing. I am a freelance contributing food writer for the Orange County Register, Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles, the Canadian Jewish News and others.
