Favorite work of Jewish (you define it!) literature
Far too many to list!
About Me:
I am the author of two books of Jewish interest for young readers.
Escaping Into the Night, (Simon and Schuster, 2006) An AJL Notable Book tells the story of teenagers who lived in forest encampments during the Holocaust, similar to those set up by Tuvia Bielski, which will be featured in the upcoming movie, Defiance.
Playing Dad's Song (Farrar, Straus, Giroux, 2006) is about Gus Moskowitz, an 11-year-old boy who loses his father on 9/11, and two years later is able to start healing from his grief with the help of his oboe teacher, Mr. M., a Holocaust survivor.
