Advice re: sale or donation of a Judaica book collection?

I recently happened to meet a person who inherited a rather substantial book collection (several thousand volumes) comprised of contemporary Judaica. Our discussion led me to wonder whether the members of this group could offer advice regarding evaluation of such a collection, recommendations for locating possible interested reputable buyers, etc. Any suggestions appreciated.

Dan Wyman is a Judaica-specialist rare bookseller in New York who might be able to help you. The temple I work for used him when we were weeding our library. He's easy to find on Google.
